Winter Poetry Garden

I’m happy to share that my poem “Petition of the Melissae: Oracular Priestesses of Demeter,” is one of twelve selected for Lakewold Gardens’ annual Winter Garden Poetry event. The contest was open to all poets in Washington State. I will be reading at the event on Saturday, February 24, at 1:30. There is also an epistolary poetry writing workshop available.

My poem will also be on a sign in the garden through the summer. A QR code on the sign will take you to a recording of me reading the poem. How lovely to have my poem written in my wildflower gardn about a garden actually be posted in a garden. My thanks to everyone at Lakewold Gardens who made this possible.
